John Tackaberry QC MA LLM FCIArb sometime FFB specialises in international commercial arbitration with a heavy emphasis towards construction, heavy engineering and infrastructure projects.
He has been admitted to the Bars of California, Hong Kong (ad hoc), Ireland, Malaysia (ad hoc), New South Wales and Trinidad and Tobago.
He chaired one of the Construction Panels over a period of five years at the United Nations Compensation Commission, reviewing claims arising out of the First Gulf War and has sat as a Recorder in England for some 20 years. He has experience of cases from a wide variety of jurisdictions across the world and governed by both common and civil law systems.
He principally sits as an arbitrator but also undertakes advocacy, mediation, adjudication, expert determination and DB work.
